AirAsia Enhances Incoming Tourism in Penang with a New Bali Route

AirAsia Malaysia (AK) will introduce a new direct route from Bali (Denpasar) to Penang on 20 October 2022. This would increase the number of regional visitors visiting Penang. The twice-weekly flight will contribute to AirAsia Malaysia’s 156 weekly flights to Penang. With the most international flight frequency, Penang is now AirAsia’s second largest hub in Malaysia, after Kuala Lumpur.

In honour of the news, AirAsia will offer low one-way flights between Bali and Penang starting at RM159 all-in* from today until 16 October 2022 for travel between 20 October 2022 and 25 March 2023.

AirAsia Malaysia (AK) operates 156 weekly flights to Penang via nine routes from Kuala Lumpur (49x weekly), Johor Bahru (28x weekly), Kota Kinabalu (14x weekly), Kuching (14x weekly), and Langkawi (21x weekly) as well as Singapore (21x weekly), Ho Chi Minh City (4 x weekly), Jakarta (3x weekly), and Bali (2x weekly).
