AirAsia X Returns to the Gold Coast and Increases its Network in Australia

AirAsia X (AAX) has announced a return to its first ever route, the Gold Coast, Australia, beginning February 15, 2023. The route will be the airline’s fourth in Australia, further increasing its network in the country.

Following its recent return to Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth, AAX has flown over 30,000 passengers between Malaysia and Australia between April and November of this year.
With today’s announcement and the addition of new frequencies to Sydney and Melbourne later this month, this number is expected to skyrocket. In celebration of its return to its first ever route, AAX is offering great value fares between Kuala Lumpur and the Gold Coast starting at RM799 (under AUD299) all-in one way for economy and RM3,999 (under AUD1,999) one way for Premium Flatbed, which will go on sale today (at 10am Gold Coast time/8am Malaysia time).
